In the early 1980s, Lula Máiz began a nomadic life that would lead her to travel for four decades in Africa, Asia and the Pacific. During her travels she began to collect original pieces of ethnic and tribal jewellery, glass beads used by European traders as barter currency in Africa, silver and gold amulets from Asia, amber, turquoise and ancient coral from Tibet, beads of ancient necklaces from the Middle East and various gems... all of them pieces of history of humanity that Lula Máiz mixes with elegance, exquisiteness and originality transforming them into unique pieces of great beauty and exotic eclecticism.
