Four decades ago I started a journey that I never imagined would end up shaping my lifestyle
and my profession. I had just finished my studies of Geography and History of Art in my native Galicia and I set out to discover the world.
Traveling to remote corners of Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the South Pacific at that time was a constant uncertainty and a real challenge.
I was able to intimately experience the cultures I was visiting, especially through women, who awakened my interest and passion for traditional jewellery. Not only was I fascinated by the beauty of their jewellery, but also by the importance it had for women across different societies, as it was often the only wealth they were allowed to own,
their life insurance...
Countless are the women with whom I shared table and smiles, who inspired me to learn more about this universal feminine heritage that is jewellery.
I specialized in ethnic and tribal jewelry, bringing the universal feminine strength closer to our
environment through original and antique pieces that I collected in my travels and that transmitted stories of women from different ethnicities and continents.
Through my creations I pay homage to those anonymous women with whom I could often only
communicate with gestures and smiles, in whom I see myself and all of us.
These unique jewels are small stories of all the women I have met in my travels and with them I pay tribute to their resilience.
